Substitute Teacher Qualifications

Educational & Professional Requirements:

• Previous experience in teaching, childcare, or a related field (preferred)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt to different classroom environments

Faith & Character Expectations:

• Committed Christian with a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Agreement with the school’s statement of faith and mission
• Ability to serve as a Christ-like role model

Skills & Abilities:

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude

Additional Requirements:

• Background check and fingerprint clearance
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
• Availability for on-call or short-notice assignments

Before & After School Care Worker Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a childcare, school, or ministry setting (preferred)
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
